I decided to once again go with a story that most English speaking children know - Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
What I have really enjoyed with the fairy tale theme, is exploring how the stories have changed over time or better said how the presentation of the stories has changed. I just love these images.
However as Audrey's Surprise Activity is put together for young children in 2020, I have chosen more colourful and fun things that I could find online based on Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
As we are now moving towards the one month mark of being in lockdown, I hope everyone is finding a good routine but also not losing heart. I know it must be hard with young children at home thinking of new things to do that doesn't involve socialising or constantly putting them in front of the TV. I'll continue to put together these surprise activity sheets, which you can always find on my blogs or facebook page.
As part of Wonderland Interactive Storytelling, we have started collaborating with different groups. One of these has been Wonderland Theatre, and this is not just because of the name. Wonderland Theatre focuses on making theatre for the young. They do this through traditional pantomime performances, that in their words 'both the young and the wise' can enjoy. I have seen a couple of these and the energy in these theatres as the children get pulled into another world is amazing. Due to the pandemic, they too have brought their latest show to the screen, which is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. If you are interested, click here to rent or buy. If you haven't already looked at the Wonderland Interactive Storytelling products that are now available, make sure you check them out. Remember this week you will receive 10% off as a launch celebration. Just add the coupon code: LAUNCHWEEK!1. But for now, have fun with Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
